A company negotiates a contract with a foreign buyer requesting a financing from the supplier before signature.

The latter contacts Platus in order to set up an insurance policy covering the non-reimbursement of instalments offering the opportunity for the supplier’s bank to issue a credit.

The upstream intervention of Platus enabled its client to offer the best financing solutions thanks to the optimisation of financial costs, the price of the insurance cover being well identified on the side of the cost of financing. When the buyer requested to postpone the instalments, Platus intervened to re-negotiate the conditions of the cover extension.
